(Easy) Baked Blueberry Orange Beignets

These baked beignets can be whipped up in a matter of minutes and are filled with a sweet blueberry orange jam! Rolled in cinnamon sugar and topped with powdered sugar and orange zest, this easy beignet recipe is sure to be a hit at your next breakfast or brunch!

Ingredients

  • 1 can flaky biscuit dough
  • 1 cup blueberry orange marmalade
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar
  • powdered sugar for dusting
  • orange zest for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Pat out each piece of biscuit dough into a rectangular shape (or as close as you can get to it), leaving the dough about 1/4" thick.
  • Place about 2 Tbsp of marmalade into the center of each dough. Fold the dough over, and crimp the edges closed with your fingers.
  • Dip each beignet in the cinnamon sugar mixture, coating all sides. Place each on the baking sheet evenly spaced apart.
  • Bake for about 15-16 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and orange zest.
  • Serve immediately.
