Spiced White Hot Chocolate
Spiced White Hot Chocolate: The perfect end to any day is this spiced white hot chocolate! Creamy, dreamy, and pretty steamy.
Have you ever had white hot chocolate? Because, if you haven’t, you need to make it. It doesn’t necessarily have to be this recipe (although I am partial to it 😉 ), but it needs to happen.
White hot chocolate is strangely delicious. And insanely fabulous.
The thing is, white chocolate has never been my favorite thing. It’s just so incredibly rich, and not in that double-chocolate-dark-chocolate-fudge-heaven kind of way. It’s more of a I-just-ate-an-ounce-and-don’t-need-sugar-for-the-next-20-years. Or 20 minutes. Whichever comes first.
But. And this is a big buuuttt. I’m a total paradox because even though white chocolate isn’t on my list of favorites, white chocolate macademia nut cookies, white chocolate cheesecake (with raspberries!), and this white hot chocolate is on my top list of crazy-good desserts.
It’s weird. But then I remember that there are people in the world who don’t really like dessert, and I think that’s weirder. I just can’t imagine what it would be like to not want dessert, ya know?.
Homemade hot chocolate and white hot chocolate is incredibly easy to make. Hot chocolate packets are perfectly fine when you want something instant, but if you have the five or ten minutes it takes to make it homemade, DO IT. It will change your life.
I say that a lot, but I swear it will. It’ll be the richest, smoothest hot chocolate you’ve ever had and if you’re anything like me, you’ll wish you’d made a vat of it instead of one cup.
You live and you learn.
