These Skinny Strawberry Oreo Milkshakes are thick, creamy, and full of sweet strawberry chocolate flavor! Made with only a handful of ingredients, you can enjoy these lighter milkshakes in just a few minutes! Homemade Strawberry Oreo Milkshakes are just what this summer heat ordered.
June 14th is National Strawberry Day, which gave me the perfect excuse to create this delicious milkshake. Like my regular Skinny Strawberry Milkshake and this 3-ingredient Strawberry Banana Sorbet, this milkshake is guilt-free since its base is made out of frozen bananas.
I know!
Frozen bananas with a splash of milk has the same consistency as soft-serve ice cream. Who knew?! Well, I did and now you do too!
Also, guys, this is so easy! It’s almost as easy as these 3-ingredient Oreo Ice Cream Sandwiches (which you must make ASAP!). If there’s one thing you do during this heatwave, make these Skinny Strawberry Oreo Milkshakes.
Anyway, after those amazing Double Chocolate Fudge Brownies, and eating all of the leftovers from my sister-in-law’s baby shower, which really wasn’t that hard when the leftovers are my favorite chocolate chip cookies and oreo truffle cupcakes, I decided to lighten up my dessert life with a skinny milkshake.
And let me tell you, it was a great decision. Sometimes you need something sweet that doesn’t leave you with regret or residual guilt.
Have you ever had a Strawberry Oreo combination? It’s good. Like, this-is-all-I-want-in-life good.
In terms of this shake, it’s like chocolate covered strawberries with a creamy frosting all rolled into drinkable form.
As I mentioned earlier, these start with frozen bananas. Slice 1-2 bananas depending upon their size and freeze them. Once frozen, you put them into a food processor with a splash of milk, and cream it until it becomes this delicious soft-serve base. After that, you put in a little more milk, Oreo cookies, and strawberries.
That’s it. These shakes are incredibly easy to put together, which is just another added benefit to their skinny-ness!
I think I’m in love.
